I agree that the people in the book Double Deuce should not be afraid of the gangs in the complex at all. I think that they should speak their minds and tell the police what is going on in the complex.That means to tell them everyday all day intel they do some thing about the gangs. If that does not work then they should go to Hawk and Spenser about it. No one should live in fear were they live, nor pushed around.
For an example, when Hawk talked to to Spenser about how the police does not and can not get the gangs out of the neighborhood and how the people who live their are sacred to talk and that the police are even scared to even go back to the complex. But, they do talk about how the people decide to do something about it on their own by the fact that Mr. Tills called and haired Hawk and Hawk called and ask Spenser for his help.

i agree no one should have to live in fear of anyone.
ReplyDeleteYes, they talk about it but they don't do anything, even though they are scared. Do you think if people did talk to the police, it would make a difference? Could the police do something?
